OEM Smartphone Pack retrofit for L494 Range Rover Sport from 2017,

with 10.2″ Widescreen InControl Touch Pro Audio

This service is available only for Range Rover models with the UIP Low Line,

as described above, and equipped with USB ports only (without MHL HDMI or SIM inputs).

If your vehicle has HDMI or SIM inputs, JLR dealers can activate the Smartphone Pack.

We offer the same service for base models with the Low Line setup, as JLR dealers cannot provide this service for base model vehicles.

The process of Smartphone Pack retrofit involves:

  • Installation of a hardware component that enables phone recognition and initiation of CarPlay and Android Auto.
  • Software and configuration updates for InControl Touch Pro, with version upgrades provided if required.

Please note:

  • This retrofit does not constitute a full update of InControl audio and will not include updates for navigation or other InControl apps.
  • If your car has InControl Touch Pro with an 8″ display, a 10.2″ upgrade package is available, with an estimated lead time of 8-9 days for order and programming.

 


 

This service is currently available for local customers in Victoria only and will not be shipped or provided outside of Victoria.

The price includes the entire service and installation by us, which takes approximately 5-6 hours.

Please note that this service does not include a larger display or a new audio head unit

Refund / Warranty and Replacement:
We provide 12 months warranty for our products.

And from the day of receiving the system, you must inform us if you’d like to refund or claim for Warranty replacement within 7 days, along with reason of request.

For the replacement, in event of our product needs to be replaced to a new system, we request to return the product to us, at buyer’s cost.

And once we receive the system we will commence testing and firmware update for the system if required – It will take up to 1-2 days.

Up on simple update fix / replacement confirmed , will dispatch it back to customer at our cost.

Yet we always do a pre-testing prior to dispatch in first place, to minimize this kind of event.

Once we receive the product back to us, we will test the unit with our system to check whether it has been used or not – via checking If It stored Car’s Data signal.

Also, the Refund will be strictly based on ‘product price’, we do not provide refund for shipping / Installation labor etc.
